Guangdong Chenggong Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as "Chenggong Law Firm"), formerly known as Shenzhen Foreign Economic Law Firm established in 1983, is one of the earliest law firms in Shenzhen. It was among the first partnership law firms established in Shenzhen and the first to engage in foreign-related business, handling the first M&A case in the history of New China. Additionally, Chenggong Law Firm established one of the first associated law firms between mainland China and Hong Kong in Shenzhen's Qianhai area.
The head office of Chenggong Law Firm is located in the Futian Central District of Shenzhen, housing nearly 4,000 square meters of modern office space spread across two floors. The firm has eight branch offices in cities including Urumqi, Nanning, Changsha, Guigang, and Shantou, with over 60 partners and nearly 300 lawyers proficient in Chinese domestic law, Hong Kong law, and English common law. These lawyers form 17 specialized legal teams capable of providing high-quality and efficient legal services to domestic and international clients in Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin), English, and Japanese. Services include government legal advisory, corporate legal advisory, civil and commercial litigation representation, criminal defense, administrative litigation representation, labor dispute resolution, intellectual property protection, company listing guidance, and foreign-related legal advisory.
